ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Singapore, Nora Qin now finds herself navigating life (and Target aisles) in Davis, California. Before trading tapas for avocado toasts, she spent almost seven years living in Spain, where she started her Master’s degree in International Marketing—later graduating from the University of Sussex. With more than a decade of broadcast experience under her belt at companies like iHeart Radio and CBS13, she now writes for The Dirt Davis, covering local life with a sharp eye and an even sharper pen.

She first started writing her novel in 2019, but somewhere between Spanish sunsets and real life, inspiration packed its bags. It wasn’t until the birth of her daughter in 2023—and countless late-night nursing sessions—that she found the time (and motivation) to dive back in. Between naps, bottles, and baby giggles, she finished her debut novel in January 2025, fueled by chocolates, sheer determination, and a whole lot of love.
